I live in the Columbia, Maryland area and while out running last week met one of your puppies with his new owner. I didn't get their names, but the puppy was black and 4 months old and seemed very happy. The gentleman walking the pup couldn't have been a bigger fan of you and your dogs and suggested I contact you. Both he and the puppy were really happy. I spent about 5 mins with them and the puppy just could not have been nicer. He rolled over on his back and just couldn’t get enough belly scratching. I was really touched by how special he was......... S.M.

I was going through a Dunkin' Donuts drive-thru yesterday, when I noticed a young family parked in the lot, enjoying an iced coffee and sitting in the shade with an adorable blonde puppy. I was drawn to this cute puppy so much so, that when I finished at the drive-thru, I pulled over to speak to the family. They gave me your name and told me that it was worth the 6-hour drive from Massachusetts........ M.G.

I have to say your dogs are GORGEOUS! They remind me soo much of my childhood pup Lady! I have never heard of the combination you label Chatham Retriever until reading your website, but they sound absolutely perfect. Your website has given us confidence in you, your family, your dogs and reassurance that there are breeders out there that do this for the right reasons! Let me tell you.. we have stumbled upon quite a few who weren't and it breaks our hearts! Thank you for any and all information! I'm confident that there will always be a place for reputable breeders and I don't think it is a far stretch to paraphrase, there is nothing greater than an idea of a hybrid dog, who's time has come. Chatties will no doubt become a success, but please don't give up your efforts to shore up the FCR gene pool. Big dogs need you too!............. R.P.

You can’t imagine the number of people who have literally stopped cars to comment on our puppy!! He IS absolutely the most adorable creature in the world and people can somehow see that from 30 or 50 feet away… A.F.

We are soo happy with our new little girl! We appreciate the extra work you went to with "potty training" the pup, she is doing very well.....and we enjoyed being able to watch your live video puppy camera...we could see how well your entire family took care of all the puppies.... Everything was so clean and well kept and when we visited the kennel it was exactly that, perfect! Thank you to you both and to all your young children you all did such a wonderful job.... The longer we have her, the more we appreciate all the things you did on your end with the puppies before they went to their homes. The potty training has gone so well because you did the whelping box! It is also a huge help that you got them accustomed to being in a crate. Bailey LOVES her crate! She is now sleeping in her crate all night!! Bailey loves our kids and has loved being around people from day one! We know that is because your family did such a nice job socializing the puppies..... For anyone looking for the perfect family dog look no further then the Chatham Hill Retriever. Our Chatham Hill Retriever puppy is absolutely amazing with our 18 month daughter. Our daughter loves to hug her and hang on her, and the puppy just stays there and kisses her. We couldn't have found a better dog to match our family lifestyle....... R & R
